Clear Aligners
A Discreet Way to Straighten Your Smile
Clear aligners offer a comfortable, nearly invisible way to straighten your teeth without traditional braces. Using a series of custom-made, removable aligners, your teeth are gradually moved into their ideal positions while allowing you to enjoy your favorite foods and maintain your normal brushing and flossing routine.
At The Smile Space, we provide clear aligner treatment for children, teens, and adults. Every treatment plan is carefully customized to your unique smile, bite, facial features, and long-term oral health goals—because successful treatment is about much more than simply straightening teeth.
Is Clear Aligner Treatment Right for Me?
Clear aligners can be an excellent option for treating many orthodontic concerns, including:
Crowded or crooked teeth
Spaces between teeth
Overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites
Teeth that have shifted after previous orthodontic treatment
Orthodontic relapse after not wearing retainers
Children, teens, and adults looking for a discreet treatment option
While clear aligners are incredibly versatile, they aren't the best solution for every smile. During your consultation, Dr. Christina Lee will determine whether clear aligners or braces will provide the healthiest, most efficient, and most predictable long-term result.
What to Expect
COMPLIMENTARY ORTHODONTIC CONSULTATION
Every clear aligner journey begins with a complimentary orthodontic consultation.
During your visit, Dr. Christina Lee will perform a comprehensive orthodontic evaluation to understand your smile, bite, and treatment goals. You'll spend your consultation one-on-one with Dr. Lee, giving you plenty of time to discuss your concerns, explore your treatment options, and have all of your questions answered in a relaxed, pressure-free environment.
Our goal is for you to leave with a clear understanding of your orthodontic needs and confidence in your next steps.
Personalized Digital Treatment Planning
If you decide to move forward with clear aligner treatment, we'll complete any additional diagnostic records needed to create your personalized treatment plan. Depending on your individual needs, these may include a CBCT scan, an iTero® digital scan, or other diagnostic records.
Advanced digital planning software plays an important role in clear aligner treatment—but it's only the starting point.
Dr. Christina Lee personally designs and customizes every treatment plan based on your individual bite, facial balance, root position, tooth anatomy, and unique biology. Rather than relying solely on a computer-generated plan, she carefully refines each stage of tooth movement to create the healthiest, most efficient, and most predictable result.
Once your customized treatment plan is complete, you'll receive a virtual simulation showing how your teeth are expected to move throughout treatment and what your anticipated final result should look like.
Before your aligners are fabricated, Dr. Lee will review your treatment plan with you in detail, including any planned attachments, interproximal enamel reduction (IPR), or other procedures. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and approve your treatment plan before moving forward.
Beginning Treatment
Once your aligners are ready, we'll ensure they fit properly and review everything you need to know before getting started.
For the best results, aligners should be worn 20–22 hours per day, removing them only for eating, drinking anything other than water, brushing, and flossing.
Throughout treatment, you'll return periodically so Dr. Lee can monitor your progress, make refinements when needed, and ensure your treatment stays on track from start to finish.
Expert Care Beyond the Software
Technology is an incredible tool—but it doesn't replace the expertise and clinical judgment of an orthodontist.
While clear aligner software can simulate tooth movement, every treatment plan at The Smile Space is personally designed, customized, and monitored by Dr. Christina Lee. She carefully evaluates how each tooth should move while considering your bite, facial balance, root position, and long-term oral health.
Our goal isn't simply to give you straighter teeth. It's to create a smile that is healthy, functional, stable, and designed to last a lifetime.
